Tina-1&2 chairs, design Yrjö Wiherheimo 1984. Tina is a 1984 design by Yrjö Wiherheimo that still commands wide acclaim. The concept as at the forefront of its time and is timeless today. Her name is Tina. A design conceptualized for the mobile and active all-round individual, it is a task and side chair appropriate for the more traditional as well as the contemporary office environments.
Tina models -1, -2 chairs have a steel frame tube that is Ø 19 mm with a thickness of 2 mm. The chair’s back legs are made of a 15x30 mm oval steel tube with a thickness of 1,5 mm. The shaped arms of the Tina chairs are solid wood. The seat/back parts are made of form pressed laminated wood with a thickness of 10 mm. The padding thickness is 15 mm (Tina-1,-2,-3,-4) with a volume density of 50 kg/m³.
