Unit sofa system, design Kaare Falbe & Lars Larsen 2000-2005. Originally this modular sofa system included 1-seater, 2-seater, 3-seater and 4-seater sofas or combinations of these. Straight and curved Unit sofas are completed by straight, curved and round upholstered benches. The straight sofas can also be attached directly to the wall. The base is 50x10 mm flat steel. The padding thickness for benches is a maximum of 90 mm, sofas a maximum of 120 mm, and all have in the back a volume density of 35 kg/m3 with 50 kg/m3 in the seat. Wooden parts: the side and connected table tops, boxes and wooden backs (sofas and armchairs) are available in several natural wood materials or stained. A high pressure laminate surface may also be specified. Bases, frames and supports are made of stainless steel. Optional parts are available in powder coated paint.
